What this market video covers
An inverted hammer tests the upper shadow, not the lower one. This historical Deere replay uses completed five minute IEX bars from October eighth, twenty twenty six. Three prior closes decline. The highlighted candle opens at six forty nine point nine five and closes at six fifty point oh five. Its high is six fifty point two seven and its low is six forty nine point nine two. The body is ten cents, the upper shadow twenty two cents, and the lower shadow three cents. Our teaching screen requires the upper shadow to be at least twice the body, and the lower shadow no larger than half the body. The ratios are two point two and zero point three, so the candle passes this declared screen. A green body is compatible with that shape. The next close rises, but that historical outcome does not establish a reliable reversal or a profitable strategy. Historical observed market-data replay.
