What this market video covers
A piercing recovery can stop short of engulfing. This historical Salesforce replay uses completed five minute IEX bars from October eighth, twenty twenty six. The first candle falls from two twenty four point ten to two twenty three point seven one. The next opens at two twenty three point six nine, below the prior low, then closes at two twenty four point oh six. Measure the recovery within the first real body. Its thirty nine cent decline has recovered thirty five cents, about eighty nine point seven percent. That clears our chosen halfway threshold, but remains below the first open. It does not engulf the entire prior body. Our context screen also requires three declining prior closes, and our long body screen uses at least one and a half times the prior ten body median. These pass here. This is a declared intraday illustration, not proof of a reliable or profitable reversal. Historical observed market-data replay.
